Hello! I'm Weilin Ruan (阮炜霖), a graduate student at the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology (Guangzhou), where I'm pursuing my studies in Data Science and Analytics at the Information Hub. My research interests primarily focus on time series analysis, spatio-temporal data mining, and multimodal learning.
My academic journey began at Jinan University, where I completed my undergraduate studies in Network Engineering. During my undergraduate years, I developed a strong foundation in computer science and discovered my passion for research in artificial intelligence and data science.
Currently, I'm working on several exciting projects that combine deep learning techniques with real-world applications in urban computing and time series forecasting. My research aims to develop innovative solutions that can help better understand and predict complex temporal patterns in various domains.
Throughout my academic career, I've had the opportunity to work on various challenging projects and collaborate with talented researchers. My work has been recognized through publications in top-tier conferences and journals in the field of artificial intelligence and data mining.
Looking ahead, I aim to continue pushing the boundaries of research in time series analysis and multimodal learning. I'm particularly interested in developing more efficient and interpretable models that can handle complex real-world data. My goal is to contribute meaningful solutions to challenging problems in urban computing and temporal data analysis.
